Welcome to Safety Harbor Kids, a non profit, 501c3 enriching the lives of parentless and homeless children in the areas of College, Career and the Arts. Safety Harbor Kids currently serves more than 2,000 needy children in over 15 group homes and shelters in and around Los Angeles. Our Vision is to break the vicious cycle of homelessness, poverty and prison that has ensnared so many of the disadvantaged children living all around us. Our Purpose is true as our Founder, was himself a parentless child who grew up in Malibu. Renting a room while working to get through school and struggling to survive at the age of 16, John vowed to succeed so that he could help other children, like himself, who did not get a fair start in life.Our Plan is to build a College, Career and the Arts Education Center where as risk children can acquire the resources to get ahead in life –just a chance is all they need to help them succeed!
